Bible Studies

There are 3 stages of Bible Study:

1. the Medicine stage.  You don’t enjoy it, it’s not fun, maybe painful, but you do it because it’s good for you! 

2. the Cereal stage.  It’s dry but nourishing.  And then finally,

3. the Peaches and Cream stage!  Tastes great, good for you AND you can’t get enough of it!

Piano Recital

On Sunday evening we had an "informal" recital party. It was sort of a good-bye piano party for my teacher who is moving. There were 7 young people who participated. It was fun, yet it made me nervous! I was trying to play one of my songs that had a lot of peddle and my foot was shaking so hard that I was having trouble using the peddle! It all went well though!

After the recital we had ice-cream sundaes that were delicious! My evening was awesome except that... There was a young girl who accidentally spit her peanut (aimed for her bowl) on the table. Some adventurous child, trying to be funny, put the peanut that had been in the girl's mouth and on the floor in my ice-cream bowl! I was away during this and had no clue what had happened. Well, I ended up finding a peanut in my mouth! It was disgusting, but I let it go... with Jesus help because I could have exploded! :)
